Upon completing the Automotive Servicing Training, students will be able to:

 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in automotive service and shop work, adhering to industry safety protocols and best practices.
  • Understand the fundamental principles of automobile construction and operation.
  • Perform Pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) effectively to ensure vehicles meet quality standards before delivery.
  • Conduct periodic maintenance on automotive engines, drive trains, brake systems, steering systems, and suspensions to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Utilize measuring systems, tools, and fasteners effectively for accurate automotive repairs.
  • Identify and classify different engine types, understanding their construction, measurements, and performance characteristics.
  • Diagnose and service various engine fuel systems, including carbureted, electronic fuel-injected, and diesel fuel injection systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of engine lubrication and cooling systems for proper engine maintenance.
